Hobbies and interests bring people together. They create a sense of community and unity. That’s how Bourne was…. well, born!

Fran and Michelle are both from small villages on the South Coast of England, near Chichester. Fishbourne and Southbourne. They met in 2023 at the 6am training session at the local gym (yep, those crazy people who exercise while the rest of the world is sleeping), and instantly hit it off.

Fran is a bundle of energy with a headful of ideas, driven by her ambition to create opportunities for her family. She’s truly inspiring. Michelle’s business experience is in marketing and she jumped at the chance to help Fran bring some of her ideas to life and create something special. And so Bourne came into being! 

Bourne brings you a range of relaxed clothing that celebrates the passion of women who are Bourne to Garden, Bourne to Play, and Bourne to Craft – people just like Fran and Michelle’s friends and family.
